In relation to the topic “Values – Changes in Global Systems and Social Market Economy?”, the term ,value’ stands for two aspects: on the one hand for an inherent quality, something that makes something or someone desirable. On the other hand it can describe a result which is expressed in figures or letters. Which values do we and our fellow human beings appreciate? What do we attach importance to? The topic ‘values’ shall be illuminated by four subtopics.

Ten years ago the first Campus Symposium took place at BiTS university. Now it’s time to change. The CEO and co-founder of the Campus Symposium Matthias Thelen resigned his contract with BiTS and will leave the university after 14 years. Still, Thelen will operate as the CEO of Campus Symposium and underlines, that the character and the values of the event will not change.


Campus Symposium 2014 was a raving success


Sir Bob Geldof was getting to the point, former Federal President of Germany Prof. Dr. Roman Herzog was demanding to re-invent Europe and Dr. Mohamed ElBaradei is looking after more ethical behavior in politics.
